Father of William Curling and wife of Mary Williams Edward was born in Northbourne, Kent in 1791. Northbourne is the next village to Great Mongeham Edward married Mary Williams on 14th November 1815 in Great Mongeham, Kent According to the 1841 Census, Edward and Mary were living in Great Mongeham. Edward and Mary were aged 50. Their children at home were: Rachel Curling aged 20 born in Great Mongeham William Curling baptised on 9th December 1821 in Great Mongeham Pleasant Curling aged 13. Pleasant Maria Curling was baptised on 27th January 1828 According to the 1851 Census, Edward and Mary were living in Chalk Pit House, Great Mongeham. Edward and Mary were aged 60 and Edward was an Agricultural Labourer. The only child at home was Richard Curling aged 33 born in Great Mongeham c.1818 Other children of Edward and Mary not at home in 1841 or 1851 were: Sarah Curling baptised on 13th June 1820 in Great Mongeham Elizabeth Kingshott Curling baptised on 28th March 1824 in Great Mongeham
