Edward was baptised at Gayton Parish Church on 12th May 1732
Edward married Catherine Miller on 21st July 1756 in Gayton. They had five children who were baptised as follows:
John Hall 13th April 1757
Mary Hall 24th September 1758
William Hall 1st June 1760
Elizabeth Hall 25th September 1761 who married Richard Webb
