Elizabeth was born at 12 Chardally Street, Castlereagh on 19^th May 1895. Her father was an Engine Fitter in 1895 and the informant of birth was Fanny Craig, Emily’s mother and Elizabeth’s grandmother.

On 1^st August 1895, Elizabeth was vaccinated. She was a Guide Captain

After her children, George and Fanny, were born, she had to spend her weeks away from home working as a supervisor in a clothing factory, in Clones in the Republic of Ireland. She came home for weekends

She died of pneumonia in 1943 and is buried in the Aitken family burial plot
