Richard Simon Ellis 1974  married Clare Nicole Elaine Gaskell

The Ellis family originate from Southgate, Middlesex and later Lichfield, Staffordshire, with Joseph Ellis born in Southgate c. 1809.

Richard & Clare emigrated to New Zealand in 1998, where they now live with their son, Jacob Oliver Ellis and daughter, Lucy Jade Ellis.  Arthur George Ellis, Richard's grandfather had undertaken some research into his family history, which formed the basis of research into this family history
