Daughter of Henry Joseph Curling and Emily Jane Finnis and mother of Hilda Frances Curling Hilda Agnes Curling, who was born at 10 St James Lane, Dover, on 3rd January 1883, was the daughter of Henry Joseph Curling, a Brewer’s Maltster and Emily Jane Finnis. In the 1901 Census Hilda, aged 18, was living at 9 Dolphin Lane, Dover, Kent, with her daughter, Hilda. Hilda was a housekeeper; also in the house were her Uncle, Henry Joseph Curling, and her father Henry Joseph Curling. Hilda married Albert Edward Winifrith Harmer at Christ Church, Hougham in Dover, Kent on 5th September 1909. She was then aged 26 and lived at 9 Dolphin Lane, Dover In 1927, when her daughter’s birth was registered, Hilda was retired of 2 Eaton Road, Dover.
