Son of Nicholas Andrew and Ann Hawke, father of Matthew Andrew and husband of Constance Plummer
James was borne in Probus, Cornwall c.1680 and married, as Jeremias, Constance Plummer on 16th February 1711; Constance was also from Probus, the daughter of Thomas Plummer and Dorothy Carter and she was borne c.1687. Thomas and Dorothy had two other children: William Plummer, who married Jane Hocken on 25th May 1728 in Ladock, and Honor Plummer.
James and Constance had at least six children, all baptised in Probus:
Matthew Andrew baptised 7th April 1715
James Andrew baptised 27th July 1717 – later Rev. James Andrew MA, Rector of Dinton, Bucks. He married Elizabeth van Hatten, the daughter of Johan van Hatten and Elizabeth Ongly of St Clement Danes.
Frances Andrew baptised 17th February 1719
Mary Andrew baptised 22nd August 1722, married Thomas Bond on 31st January 1741 in Ladock and was buried on 20th August 1781 in Probus
Nickalas Andrew baptised 19th October 1729
Constance Andrew baptised 11th August 1732
James died in Probus in 1749 and Constance in 1744.
