Matthew Andrew

Son of James Andrew and Constance Plummer, father of Margaret Andrew and husband of Margaret Langdon

Matthew was baptised in Probus on 7^th April 1715 and he married Margaret Langdon on 17^th November 1741; Margaret was also from St Michael Penkivel and she was the daughter of Zachary and Ann Langdon – see note.

Matthew and Margaret had at least five children all baptised at St Michael Penkivel:

Anne Andrew baptised on 2^nd December 1742 and married Richard Doble on 3^rd July 1766 at St Michael Penkivel

Margaret  Andrew baptised on 21^st January 1744/45

Elizabeth Andrew baptised on 10^th October 1747 and married George Warren on 31^st August 1783 at Probus.  They had a daughter:

Susan Warren who married Admiral Francis Temple, brother of Octavius - see notes of the Children of Rev. William Johnstone Temple and Ann Stowe

Catherine Andrew baptised on 11^th March 1750

James Andrew baptised on 31^st October 1754. James became Rector of Boughton, Monchelsca, Kent
