Nicholas was born c.1503 and he was of Temple Cheston, Hertfordshire, which no longer exits and has been absorbed into London.

Nicholas had at least 3 children:

Elizabeth Thorogood born c.1522. She married Francis Johnson of Wilmington, Kent.

Thomas Thorgood  born c.1525. He married ? Clarke of Hertfordshire.

John Thorogood  born  c.1533
