Robert Arundell

Son of Sir John Arundell and Juliana Erisey, father of Grace Arundell and husband of Elizabeth Clopton

Robert was born in Terice, Madron, Cornwall c.1528.  He was the son of John Arundell of Terice, Madron, Cornwall, born c.1494, and Juliana Erisey of Erisey, Cornwall, born c.1505.

Robert married Elizabeth Clopton of Stratford on Avon, Warwickshire c.1552. Elizabeth, born c.1531, was the daughter of William Clopton Armiger and Elizabeth Grey

Robert and Elizabeth had the following children:

Christopher Arundell born in Cambourne, Cornwall c.1555 and buried on 1^st March 1617

John Arundell born in Cambourne, Cornwall c.1557

Robert Arundell born in Cambourne, Cornwall c.1558 and buried on 20^th November 1558

Jaquet Arundell born in Cambourne, Cornwall c.1560

Blanche Arundell born in Cambourne, Cornwall c.1561

Juliana Arundell born in Cambourne, Cornwall c.1563 and died in 1629

Mary Arundell born in Cambourne, Cornwall c.1565

William Arundell born in Cambourne, Cornwall c.1567

Richard Arundell born in Cambourne, Cornwall c.1570

Elizabeth was buried in Cambourne on 22^nd March 1581
