Richard Bassett

Son of Emmanuel and Grace Bassett, father of Ann Bassett Carveth and wife of Jane Vanson

Richard was baptised in St Enoder, Cornwall on 10^th March 1643. He married Jane Venson c. 1673. Jane Vanson was the daughter of Thomas Vanson and she was buried on 18^th September 1715 in St Enoder. Richard and Jane had the following children all baptised in St Enoder:

Ann Bassett 26^th September 1675 She married Richard Craveth

Richard Bassett 12^th May 1680

Grace Bassett10^th October 1683

Emmanuel Bassett born c.1685. He married May Rogers on 29^th September 1705 in St Enoder and they had seven children

Richard died on 7^th March 1687 in St Enoder
