Samuel Roughton

Son of Thomas Roughton and Hannah Seaton, father of Nathaniel Roughton and husband of Ann Chapman

Samuel was baptised in Kettering on 13^th October 1759.

Samuel married Ann Chapman in Kettering on 19^th July 1782.

Samuel and Ann had the following children, all baptised at the Great Independent Meeting, Kettering:

Nathaniel Roughton   born on 25^th April 1788

Mary Roughton born on 18^th October 1791 and baptised on 11^th December 1791

Amos Roughton born on 3^rd May 1794 and baptised on 10^th May 1795

Thomas Roughton born on 25^th February 1796 and baptised on 11^th September 1796

Ann Roughton born on 12^th February 1799 and baptised on 11^th August 1799

John Roughton born on 7^th April 1803 and baptised on 24^th July 1803

Samuel was buried in the Parish Church Yard on 23^rd February 1841 at the age of 82. His wife, Ann, was buried on 24^th November 1843, aged 81
