Stephen Pawley

Son of Stephen Pawley and Margery Brae, father of Stephen Pawley and husband of Jane Samford

Stephen was born in Gunwin, Uny Lelant, Cornwall c.1524. He was the son of Stephen Pawley and Margery Brea; this Stephen was born in Gunwin, Uly Lelant in c.1492, married Margery c.1522 and died c.1582.  Margery was of Paul, Cornwall, born c.1496 and buried on 1^st May 1578

Jane Samford of Combflorie, Somerset, was born c.1527. She married Stephen c.1547. Jane was the daughter of Hugh and Mrs Samford who were born in Combflorie c. 1498 and 1502 respectively.
